I am running for school board because I care about education and think that my experience as an educator will be useful in deciding board policies. I have been involved with education for more than half of my life. Being on the board will continue that involvement.

I miss working with educators. I just had an interview with members of the Teachers’ Union.  The discussion made me realize how wonderful it is to connect with people who care passionately about education.

I also had a meeting with Guadalupe Guerrero, the Superintendent of PPS. His vision for school improvement is inspiring. I would like to be part of achieving the goals the district has worked so hard to define.
